Common issues
I can receive email but cannot send.
Check your outgoing server (SMTP) settings. Use port 465 with SSL/TLS, and turn on authentication with the same email address and password. Port 587 is not open on our server.
IMAP or POP3 - which one should I choose?
Choose IMAP if you use email on more than one device - your email stays on the server and looks the same on every device. POP3 downloads email to one device only.
My app picked port 587 automatically.
Change it to port 465 and SSL/TLS by hand. Port 587 is not open, so your email will not send.
