Keep chat safe
Section titled “Keep chat safe”Your domain admin can search past chats, so treat chat like work email. Never send passwords or other secrets in chat. If a message asks for your password, see Spot a fake login email. Turning on two-step authentication also protects your login. To find a colleague’s email address, check the Global Address List. For team email addresses, use a shared inbox instead. For documents you want to keep next to your email, use File Storage.
